Merchant-scoped EhdaPoints guide

Run a merchant EhdaPoints program with clearer operational truth

EhdaPoints now works as a merchant-scoped rewards model. Merchants should read EhdaPoints performance from merchant-specific stats, customer activity, and availability controls rather than older global-style summaries.

Merchant-scoped by design

Your store has its own EhdaPoints context, customer participation, and performance reads during the migration.

Protected by backend rules

Earning, redemption, availability state, and merchant-linked redemption enforcement are handled centrally.

Merchant decisions should be based on merchant-scoped stats, customers, and participation state.

How merchant EhdaPoints works now

1

Earn from gift value only

EhdaPoints are earned from gift card value. Service fees, taxes, and delivery fees do not increase EhdaPoints earning.

2

Read merchant-scoped performance

Use your merchant dashboard, customer EhdaPoints reads, and participation controls as the primary source of truth for store EhdaPoints performance.

3

Redeem with merchant context

Checkout redemption is merchant-linked and backend enforced, so customers can only use eligible merchant-scoped EhdaPoints where allowed.

Merchant read guide summary

Trust merchant EhdaPoints dashboard stats, merchant customer EhdaPoints reads, participation state, and merchant-specific performance metrics first.

Use older showcase, campaign, or global-style EhdaPoints summaries as secondary migration guidance rather than the final operational source.

If merchant participation is disabled, new earning and checkout redemption should stop for that merchant, while historical records remain visible.
